John and Stephanie Shepherd began Shepherdsfield Church as a house church in 2008. Having been married now for 40 years and having engaged for years in marriage and family counseling, they decided to open their estate to brides as a lovely, yet affordable place to wed. Their desire is simply to bless others with a beautiful place to marry at a fair cost.

John Shepherd is also an experienced and licensed pastor who is happy to officiate your wedding, if desired. For the low cost of $200, he will meet with you to work through the ceremony design, and to lead the rehearsal. He will perform the ceremony to your liking and then process the paperwork.
